Mr. Itzhak Sharon, which up until recently was VP Marketing & Business Development of Israel Aircraft Industries International Inc. (IAII), the American subsidiary of Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI), is in charge, as of November 1, 2002, of the company's Business Development. His new title is: Deputy Corporate VP Business Development, and he reports to Mr. Shimon Eckhaus, IAI's Corp. VP Marketing & Business Development.
In his new capacity, Mr. Sharon is responsible for all new IAI business development opportunities worldwide, which includes: joint ventures, teaming arrangements, industrial cooperation programs and agreements and focal point for all IAI mergers and acquisitions.
Itzhak Sharon joined Israel Aircraft Industries as an Engineer at MBT Division. During his years at IAI / MBT he held a variety of senior positions, including Director of Missile and Weapon systems, Director of International Marketing and Contract Management.
Mr. Sharon's last position in the MBT Division was Deputy Managing Director.
In 1992, Mr. Sharon became Deputy Corporate VP Marketing, responsible for the development of new markets, planning and coordinating the company's international marketing activities. In 1997, he was appointed VP Marketing & Business Development of IAI International Inc., the American subsidiary of IAI. In this position, Mr. Sharon was responsible for IAI business activities in the U.S. and Canada.
Mr. Itzhak Sharon is an Electronics Engineer (cum laude), graduated in 1965 from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
