Panama President Ricardo Martinelli Berrocal and his entourage visited Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) recently (March 4th, 2010) as part of his official tour of Israel, which has included meetings with Israel President Shimon Peres and Israel Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
The Panamanian President came to IAI with a number of distinguished senior members of his government, including Vice President and Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Varela Rodriguez, Minister of the President Demetrio Papadimitriu, and Minister of Tourism Salomon Shamah Zuchin.
While at IAI, President Martinelli and his entourage was hosted by IAI senior management, including Corporate Vice President Hezi Grizim, for presentations on IAI's advanced technologies and systems, as well as tours of IAI's MALAT Division, which develops and manufactures unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs); the executive jets division, including the newest G250 executive jet; and Bedek Aviation Group, which provides maintenance services to commercial and military aircraft.
