ELTA’s Advanced Coastal Surveillance Radar (ACSR) has been designed, mainly, to detect small targets under rough sea conditions. It performs automatic detection and tracking of surface and slow-airborne targets, operated locally or remotely – from a remote control site. Among its applications are: Detection of Terrorist activities from the sea, Prevention of Drug trafficking and illegal immigration, Maritime Traffic Control as a main VTS Radar.
