To maximize the effectiveness of pilot training, it is essential to provide actual flight training in the operation and control of complex the systems, sensors and weapons found on advanced fighter aircraft.

Due to the limited availability of advanced fighter aircraft, the high cost of using these aircraft for training, and the limitation of integrating these advanced systems on trainer aircraft, Lahav developed its range of Embedded Training Systems.
Lahav's first Virtual Training System was successfully integrated as part of the Spanish Air Force F-5B upgrade program.  This system utilizes a datalink and simulations to provides Virtual Radar, Virtual EW threats and virtual Weapons.  The datalink network connects all the aircraft participating in the training session together with a real-time ground station.

As a result of the success of Lahav's Virtual Training System, BAE Systems selected Lahav to provide the Virtual Radar System for the Hawk aircraft.
