IAI TWISTER is a scalable, Multi-Mission Joint Operations Control Center for the tactical command level and higher.  IAI TWISTER provides an outstanding solution that overcomes current limitations of Command Centers, both with respect to operational complexity and information flow rate.

 

IAI TWISTER provides full control of Joint Operations missions that require the utilization of
more unmanned sensors, including UAVs and USVs, more means-of-engagement
("ׂeffectors"), such as attack helicopters or land troops, and more means of coordination,
assignment and control of these elements.

IAI TWISTER is designed to support the battlefield decision makers and mission participants and
results in swift and effective Joint Forces Network-Centric Collaborative Targeting.

IAI TWISTER is based on state-of-the-art COTS technologies and industry standards, and on open, modular and robust architecture. It offers cost-effective customization and simple integration with existing elements and systems.

Based on up-to-date combat experience TWISTER incorporates:
-  Smart utilization of sensors with optimal assignment of a variety of means-of-engagement
-  Advanced mission interfaces of video, voice and data, to establish a common, collaborative 
   graphic language available to all joint forces

Efficient Utilization of Mission Elements

IAI TWISTER enables efficient utilization of an expandable number of System Elements
including platforms, sensors, effectors or weaponns, C2 and communication, by integrating
existing systems via Collaborative Mission Interfaces into a Network Centric System of
Elements (NCSE).

The synergetic operation of the elements results in creation of Actionable Intellgence and
rapid Collaborative Mission Awareness, minimizing batle uncertainty and increasing mission
effectiveness by enabling a coordinated operation of multiple, dissimilar and often unfamiliar
forces.

Shared Technological Infrastructure

The TWISTER joint Operations Collaboration System shares a common technological
infrastructure with the Concept of Operations, Research and Analysis Laboratory (CORAL). 
This infrastructure is comprised of both mission execution elements as well as embedded
simulations and contains all the required software components and tools to fully support
both applications.
