As part of Lahav's range of pilot simulators, we offer solutions that meet the requirements of Distributed Mission Operation / Distributed Mission Training (DMO/DMT).
Due to reduced budgets, the high cost of fuel, safety considerations, and the need to train military pilots to respond to increasingly complex battle arenas, there is a growing demand for simulators. Traditional simulators, however, are expensive, provide only a single high-fidelity cockpit, and can no longer support the demands of modern tactical flight mission training. Today's modern air forces require additional training capabilities that enable real-time coordination between multiple trainees and with other C4I elements.
A Distributed Mission Operation (DMO) system consists of more than one (usually four) networked cockpits and enables the collective training of multiple trainees. While continuing to provide traditional simulation capabilities, it enables efficient operational training by creating a virtual battle space and state-of-the-art combat realism for the trainees.
