Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)'s Bedek Aviation Group and Thai Airways of Thailand recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the conversions of B737-400 and B747-400 aircraft from passenger to freighter configuration. The companies agreed on developing long-term relationship to attain mutual success on this project.
The MoU was signed between IAI's Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Bedek Aviation Group – Mr. Dany Kleiman, and Thai Airways Executive Vice President - Mr. Tummasak Chutiwong.
Bedek's executives visited Thai Airways aircraft maintenance facility in Thailand prior to signing the MoU, and saw the potential of the facility as a future aircraft conversion center to Thai Airways' fleet.
